LW Construction is a high-end residential construction and woodworking company servicing Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the metro area.

We specialize on design-driven and material-focused builds.  Our projects have ranged from an 1864 townhouse in West Chelsea to a penthouse in the tallest building on the Upper East Side.

We anchor our business on our long-standing in-house crew of tradesmen and craftsmen who are knowledgeable about materials, have developed better construction processes and standards, and understand the components of a living home.  We surpass expectations, while delivering projects on time, controlling budgets, maintaining an open line of communication, and operating within each client’s set constraints.

About Filip

Filip was born and raised in New York.

As the son of an owner of a construction company, Filip early on was exposed to NYC construction. He quickly realized that he has a profound interest in high quality builds.  Relying on his technical background in both construction management and civil engineering, Filip started LW Construction in 2012.

Filip’s approach is one of individualized attention. He is personally involved in each and every project, and responsible for the timely and efficient progress of each build.  He devotes time and attention to making sure he understands each client’s expectations, and provides thoughtful and pragmatic insight as to how to make those expectations a reality. He recognizes that the construction process can be foreign to most, and thus ensures to keep all his clients apprised of his process, approach, and reasoning.

Filip very much enjoys what he does, and has been told it comes through in LW’s finished work product.

We work closely with designers and architects, and offer real-time pricing, technical input, alternative and tailored solutions, vendor and material sourcing, and timeline planning. With our many years of experience, we can design creative ways to meet your goals without sacrificing on quality, aesthetic, or cost.

    Ultimately, our pre-construction planning sets expectations and the financial framework for the project, establishes an agreed plan forward, and minimizes surprises and the need for change orders.

    We provide in-house architectural millwork products for fine residential homes. We have a well-equipped facility and employ master craftsmen, who work to ensure satisfaction. We apply the highest standards for fabrication with an emphasis on durability and functionality.

    Our millwork is one-of-a-kind. We offer flexibility of custom millwork solutions when a suitable product cannot be sourced from a manufacturer, and have the capabilities to create intricate and innovative builds, with a rich aestheticism, for each of your needs. We collaborate with architects and designers to come up with tailored designs for each space and vision.
